I really enjoyed the wrap-around balcony, and the proximity to the restaurants in Thorton Park.
The bed is awful. I think the mattress sloped downwards so my feet felt above my head, and there wasn't a thin or soft pillow to be had. Please fix this, because the hotel is great otherwise.
The staff was friendly and helpful.I loved the bed and all the pillows.I was able to get a small refrigerator in the room.Comfortable and quiet-safe.
I booked a massage with a particular therapist.Therapist was changed without consulting me.
Everything went OK. It was a bit difficult to find the location first. The breakfast downstairs was excellent (not included).
The bed was really nice and comfortable, and the hotel it self is beautifully located by the lake and park Eola.
I didn't like that there wasn't any receptionist there all the time. When I arrived at 5pm to check in( which isn't a late hour) the door was locked and the reception was closed. I also think they should have coffee and tea making facilities in the guest rooms. I think the management should deal with these two simple but important things asap.
we found the location good for Orlando city. A spa treatment is available as is a jacuzzi.
The bedroom was extremely small and the bathroom tiny, no tea, coffee available in the room.
My husband and I found your Inn to be a great place for a weekend get-away! Loved it!
I liked the hotel because it was so convenient to Lake Eola where my son's wedding took place.
There were a few changes I would like to suggest which would have made our stay more pleasant: 1. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. 2. A fridge in the room 3. The coffee in the foyer was not refilled often enough or was cold.
Great Bed, quite, Close to Lake Eloa & Downtown Night scene
Had to air room out - housekeeping used too much bleach cleaning the room. Lack of 24 hour service at the front desk was a little bit of a pain but they had a call number and lock box to get your key after hours. Call went to voicemail and had to wait 15 minutes before getting a call back.
It had a good feel to it - from the design of the hotel and rooms to the helpful staff. The room balcony was a plus, as was the proximity to the lake. Separate restaurant downstairs where you could eat was convenient (if a little pricey).
Absence of coffee-making facilities in the room. Decor a little on the dark side.
I felt like what you see on their website is not what you get in person. The rooms were extremely tiny and on the website they look much bigger. On the website they show a guest room with a large romantic tub with drapes hanging from the ceiling, but there was no tub in sight...there wasn't room for one. That is the main reason we wanted to stay there! Although the location was great, I feel it is overpriced for what you actually get. I feel they did a bait and switch! We were quite disappointed as this was our anniversary and we did not get what we thought we were getting.
The staff was excellent!!! So friendly! Our friends had Michelle buy us a huge fruit and cheese platter with champagne & flowers and she and the front-desk gentleman made sure it was in our room at arrival & it was very lovely!! We had an awesome "date night"!!! It is perfectly located on Lake Eola and in walking distance to restaurants & Amway Center.
lack of internet in room; sparse furnishings,
I did not like the fact that when I called the 24 hour concierge, no one answered, left a message, and no one called me back . I would not stay again in case I needed to get in room, not confident that on reality someone would be available . Mention to front desk, got a lame answer. This is what I didn't like. Guess it is also a complaint. Take it whichever way you want.
Good location to access Downtown Orlando; directly opposite a park and lake. Quiet hotel; above a Panera - fantastic for coffee and breakfast! Also offered spa treatments (we didn't book any). Our room was a good size, with a balcony and view over the park. Bathroom had a large full depth bath (great for a soak) with 2 sinks on either side. FREE WIFI!!!
Just a couple of concerns: i) the staff were a little 'distant' in their approach (we had encountered far more friendly people during our 2 week holiday in Florida) ii) cleaning staff didn't do a great job - rubbish bins not emptied on 2nd morning. Felt it lack a bit of attention to detail given the price paid.
Mycket trevligt boutique hotell beläget vid Lake Eola i Downtown Orlando. Nära till utmärkta restauranger. Promenader runt sjön, där det ligger ett jazz kafé och nära till shopping.
